Part 4: Using Coordinates to Extract DNA

Phew! That was a lot! But we're not done yet (almost done, but not yet...) Now that we have reversed the genes that need to be reversed and seperated them out from the genes that didn't have to be reversed, we have to merge all those genes together into a single data set so that we can output them together.

Insert a new rule called “To merge data from other rules!” Name it something like Combined Genes. Change the rule to look like the following:

Now, lets turn the gene sequence into Upper Case letters. Insert a rule called “Convert or Reverse Data without changing length.” Name it something like Upper Case Genes. Change the rule so that it looks like the following:

User converted data from Combined Genes where a-z is converted to A-Z.
