Converting GIF files into animation

Once all the files are exported and saved, they can be converted into animation with a conversion utility such as GIFMerge. Another GIF animators is GIFsicle. There are many more to choose from.

This tutorial will not go into the steps involved with GIFMerge, GIFsicle, or any other GIF animator. This tutorial simply shows how TREND allows for the exporting of files to be used by such utilities.

The advantage TREND has over its competition is the fact that it can export the field data, or it can export the cell data. This means TREND can animate fields within a CA space or it can animate individual symbols defined in a field.
