Jennifer Chang is a Ph.D. student in the Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BCB) program at Iowa State University. Jennifer grew up in northern Wisconsin and earned her B.A. in Computer Science and Biochemistry from Cornell College in Iowa.
Her research interests include designing/working with software useful to experimental design and analysis and working with CUDA and 3D modeling. In the past, Jennifer has performed Sanger sequencing of fire coral from the Bahamas as a member of Prof Craig Tepper's lab. She has worked on a R program to visualize exon junction reads and has worked on a tri omni wheel automonous robot as part of a 4 person team.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys reading, planning, and random craft projects.
