Elisabeth Oeverli is the undergraduate research assistant in the Chou lab. She grew up in a small town in Norway by the mountains. She is currently an international undergraduate student working on her B.A in Biological and pre-Medical Illustration and a minor in Biology at Iowa State University.
Her future plans is to go to graduate school and get her masters in either Medical Illustration with focus on 3D modeling and animation, or for Facial prosthetics. This is because she want to be able to use her creative abilities and love for science to help others either by education through her animations, or through a piece of well sculpted silicon for someone to use as a "spare part" for their face for confidence and function.
In her spare time Elisabeth enjoys drawing, painting, snowboarding, traveling, fishing, hiking and everything that is outdoors.
